Get in Line: Subaru will Reportedly Bring Only 6,000 BRZ Coupes to the U.S. in 2012


If for some reason you prefer looking at Subaru's Pleiades star cluster-inspired logo on the Toyota 86, you had better act fast, as according to a report from Car and Driver today, the Japanese automaker will ship just 6,000 examples of its BRZ sports coupe to the United States this year.

Subaru declined to comment on the report but the publication says the carmaker had previously revealed that in order to make a business case in the U.S., it had to sell 5,000 to 7,000 cars priced at around $25,000.
