Mopar Gives Chrysler 300 a More Premium Feel with "Luxury" Study


Among the broad range of customized models that Mopar will roll out for the SEMA show in Las Vegas at the end of this month is the new Chrysler 300 "Luxury" concept.

Said to take the 300's premium feel to "another level", the study is finished in a unique True Blue Pearl Coat exterior paint and features a platinum mesh grille with a colored surround, 20-inch satin carbon wheels with black brake calipers, and chrome exhaust trims.

Colin Bonathan Revisits 2014 Chrysler 200 Sedan Design Study


A design study is not meant to be static, but should be at a constant state of evolution, which is precisely what Lawrence Technological University design student Colin Bonathan is doing with his conceptual renderings for a replacement of the Chrysler 200.

In these latest drawings, which come a little over a month after we showed you Bonathan's previous take on Chrysler's mid-size sedan, we see a different execution of the front- and rear-end designs, while he also made changes to the shape of the roofline and the profile details.

Chrysler 300C Ruyi Design Concept Debuts at Beijing Auto Show


The Chrysler brand is marking its return to China with the presentation of a concept version of the 300C sedan called Ruyi at the at 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.

In Chinese, ruyi means “as one wishes” and the purpose of the concept model is exactly that; to demonstrate the brand's ability to adapt the design of the 300C to match the tastes of Chinese consumers.

Chrysler says that the 300C Ruyi blends "modern American design and technology with tradition-rich Chinese symbols".

Chrysler to Celebrate Return to China with 300C and Jeep Wrangler Concepts at the Beijing Auto Show


One of the main goals for the Fiat-Chrysler Alliance is to increase its presence in the hugely important Chinese market. And today, the alliance is making another step in this direction by announcing the return of the Chrysler Group return to China at the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition on April 23, 2012.

The celebrate the occasion, the Detroit-based automaker will present two special edition models at the Beijing motor show.

These include a Chrysler 300C design concept created specifically with Chinese elements in mind and a Jeep Wrangler study inspired by the Year of the Dragon, which the company says, "showcases the opportunity for special editions that might be available for Chinese customers in the near future".

Next Generation 2014 Chrysler 200 Sedan Conceptualized


It may feature a different name and fancier looks, but pay close enough attention and it’s not hard to see that the current Chrysler 200 is a heavily facelifted Sebring.

That doesn’t come as a surprise as the Detroit automaker wanted to buy some time before it develops an all new replacement based on the CUSW platform used on the Dodge Dart, which has been jointly-developed with Fiat.

Chrysler has already admitted that the 200's successor will arrive in the market within the next year or so, but we still don't know what it will look like.

Lawrence Technological University design student Colin Bonathan, whom we came to know through his Chrysler Review Coupe and Lincoln Continental studies, attempts to shed some light on a possible design direction for the next 200 mid-size sedan.

Chrysler Review is a Concept Study for a Plush GT Coupe


Lawrence Tech student Colin Bonathan is a name some of our regular readers might remember.

The young designer was responsible for the exterior styling of the Ford Motor Company-endorsed 2025 Lincoln Continental concept displayed as a quarter-scale model at this year's edition of the Detroit Motor Show.

We recently revisited his portfolio and discovered a new design project that he has been working on. This time, Bonathan dreamed up a styling proposal for a Chrysler-branded luxury GT coupe named Review.

We don’t know if what we see in these computer generated images is the final design or if Bonathan is still contemplating on the details, but the styling is impressive in an elegant way.
